About the role
This position is for a Special Education Elementary Teacher focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Responsibilities
- Experience working with students with autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred.
- Teach elementary level curriculum to students with special needs.
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and assistive technology as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement educational plans.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND Teacher of Preschool Through Grade 3 certificate OR
- NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6 certificate (or Elementary School Teacher N-8) OR
- NJ Teacher of the Handicapped

- Salary As per NBEA Contract
- Salary Range: $63,201 - $104,070 Pending Budgetary Approval
