Role Mission

The Special Education Co-Teacher position at IDEA aims to provide highly effective instruction to IDEA students while offering valuable experience in Special Education teaching.

What We Offer

• Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $16.05 to $23.17, paid over a 12-month period.

• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits plan including paid family leave, tuition reimbursement, employer-paid mental/behavioral health, and more.

• Special Benefits: Up to 8 weeks of paid leave for the birth or adoption of a child, up to 50% of tuition reimbursement, and other perks.

Qualifications

• Education: At least 48 college hours required, bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Experience: Classroom experience or working with children.

• Licenses or Certifications: Willingness to pursue a Special Education teaching certification.

Skills

• Instruct students and manage student behavior.

• Organize, communicate, and interact effectively with others.

• Adapt to various situations in the school environment.
