SPECIAL EDUCATION AIDE (Bus Aide for Eagle View Elementary)

About the role

This part-time special education bus aide position is up to 29.5 hours per week and is a voucher position with no benefits. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community
• Lift 50 pounds and manage students when necessary
• Follow outlined procedures consistently and objectively
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and other staff members
• Work independently at assigned tasks
• Other duties as assigned by school administrator

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Successful experience working with special needs students preferred

Qualifications

• Must hold Associate's degree or have 48 semester hours of college credit
• Must have passed or be willing to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire
