About the role
This position is available in Ohio at an elementary school. The work year is 10 months, with duty days on a regular schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide special education services to students in grades 1-6.
- Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning.
- Assist in developing and implementing educational plans tailored to students' needs.
Requirements
- Valid teaching license in Special Education for grades 1-6.
- Knowledge of Ohio's academic standards and curriculum for students with disabilities.
- Experience working with students with a range of disabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Master's degree in Special Education preferred.
- At least one year of teaching experience in a special education setting.

Pay
