Requirements
- Valid California Educational Specialist Instruction Credential – Moderate/Severe
- Added Authorization Autism Spectrum Disorder (AAAS)
- California English Learner authorization
Intern eligible applicants: Attach your University Letter of Intern Eligibility, AAAS Certification, Credential Copy, and English Learner Authorization.
Qualifications
- Certification: AAAS required (if embedded in credential, submit a credential version that reflects the authorization)
- Copy of Transcript: Unofficial accepted; sealed official transcripts required upon hire
- Credential Copy: Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential – Moderate/Severe
- English Learner Authorization: If embedded in credential, submit a credential version that describes EL authorization
- Three Letters of Recommendation: Must be dated within the last 2 years
- Resume: Include work history dates
Pay
Annual full-time salary range: $64,756 – $136,233 (initial placement based on education and experience up to 24 years). Maximum salary includes longevity.
- Master’s Degree Stipend: $3,415
- Doctoral Degree Stipend: $3,828
