Special Ed. Para Professional

Location: Rawlins Elementary School

Purpose

CCSD#1 is seeking a qualified candidate to be considered for a special education paraprofessional, serving under direction of a certified staff member.

Essential Functions

• Enjoy working with children
• Assist in implementing teacher's plans for students in all academic, behavioral, and personal areas
• Maintain confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, and parent/guardian
• Use positive verbal and non‑verbal communication and interaction skills with students and staff
• Intervene with students at the direction of teacher or administrator in crisis/emergency situations
• Perform other duties as assigned by certified staff and/or administrator

Pay

$19.40 per hour
