Special Ed and Instructional Ed Paraeducator K-12 Substitutes

About the role

The WASD is seeking K-12 special education and instructional paraeducator substitutes to cover daily and multiple extended leave absences occurring now-May 2027.

Pay

• Special Education Pay Rate: $18.29/hour, 5.75 hours per day
• Instructional Pay Rate: $17.35/hour, 5.75 hours per day

Qualifications

• Paraeducators and caregivers with experience preferred
• AED training, CPR, and First Aid preferred
• Background clearances are required for all positions

Benefits

• After 60 days of satisfactory performance, newly hired support staff will be reimbursed $200.00 to cover the cost of background checks, physical, and TB test
