The Antioch Unified School District (AUSD) is seeking an Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate.
About the role
The successful candidate will provide instructional support to students with mild to moderate disabilities, collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized education plans, and assist in creating inclusive learning environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Assist in creating inclusive learning environments
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements

- Credential for English Learner Authorization
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters dated no later than 1 year)

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
