Special Agent – Criminal Investigator
About the role
This position will be assigned to the Criminal Investigations Unit and will work cases assigned to them by the Chief Investigator. The Agent will conduct investigations into suspected violations of Oklahoma State law. Agent duties include but are not limited to: locating, interviewing, and collecting statements from victims, witnesses and suspects. Collecting evidence at crime scenes, completing applications for search warrants, and performing interrogations as well as assembling charge packets.

Requirements
- CLEET full-time certified with a minimum of five years' full-time law enforcement experience, with preference given to those with investigative experience.
- Must reside within the geographical boundaries of District 22 or be able to relocate within a reasonable amount of time.
- Subject to call-out 24/7.
- Pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree or higher education preferred
- Veteran's Preference
- No felony convictions or major misdemeanors
- No domestic violence convictions
- Computer proficient

- Proficient in computer systems and software

Pay
Starting salary: $58k with a six-month probationary period. Successful completion of probationary period can result in a step increase.
Schedule
On-call investigator rotating schedule.
