Manatt Health is seeking a highly qualified, part-time Special Advisor with Mental Health Parity subject matter expertise to join its growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced health care professional who brings deep substantive expertise in federal and state mental health parity requirements and regulatory compliance. Special Advisors play a critical role in delivering high-impact client work, leading significant engagements, and contributing to the intellectual, cultural, and economic strength of Manatt Health. In this role, you will support client engagements related to mental health parity compliance. You will provide subject matter expertise on federal and state parity requirements, including the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA), support the review and assessment of health plan policies and practices, assist in the development of nonquantitative treatment limitation (NQTL) analyses, identify operational and compliance risks, and advise clients on strategies to strengthen parity compliance, regulatory readiness, and behavioral health access.
