Responsibilities

• Performs daily operations for member accounts, focusing on special account needs and deposit accounts.
• Supports internal departments and branches with technical and procedural assistance.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, and communicates effectively with members and other departments.
• Handles monetary transactions and account maintenance efficiently and accurately.
• Deals with complex member service issues such as IRA and HSA transactions, IRS reporting, and research.
• Resolves formal complaints related to IRA’s/HSA’s, decedent accounts, abandoned property, taxes, and various other deposit products.
• Reviews and performs closeout processes for decedent accounts, collaborating with Bellco Legal Team for accurate beneficiary payouts.
• Evaluates and makes sound decisions regarding member accounts to benefit both Bellco and the member.
• Participates in the abandoned property cleanup process, ensuring accurate reporting and guidelines for each state.
• Manages advanced tax corrections related to deposit accounts, including IRA/HSA accounts.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 12 months of experience in a financial environment preferred.
• CIS I certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong analytical ability and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload based on mandatory requirements and member service level agreements.
• Advanced experience and knowledge in handling IRA/HSA accounts.
