Spec I Planner

Responsibilities

• Maintain material inventory at minimum/maximum levels by calculating demand, usage, and scrap.
• Create and send forecasts and weekly releases to suppliers.
• Maintain accurate data input into the integrated computer system to support material supply and demand.
• Responsible for cycle counts for AS and SS divisions.
• Assist in identifying potential problems or abnormal conditions and establish countermeasures and corrective action.
• Develop, maintain, and audit all required Standard Work Instructions pertaining to Raw Material Planning that support TGASK, ISO, IATF16949, and MMOG requirements.
• Determine the most cost-effective method for inbound freight and expedite freight as required to support production.
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight as necessary.
• Ensure EMS/QMS procedures are followed in the performance of job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
