About the role
The SPC General Maintenance position at Engineered Floors, LLC is responsible for assisting or repairing machines as needed throughout the plant.
Responsibilities
- PREFERRED: Knowledge of Extrusion, printing, and profiling machines
- MUST HAVE: Experience with chains, sprockets, and bearings of different sizes and configurations
- KNOWLEDGE OF: Air compressors, chillers, and conveyor systems is a plus
- MUST BE: Self-motivated and possess problem-solving skills
- SKILLS: Electrical trouble-shooting, use of a multi-meter and amp clamp, proficient use of welding equipment and cutting torches, mechanical trouble-shooting with basic knowledge of electrical systems
- MUST BE ABLE TO: Supply hand tools, lift up to 100 pounds 0-100 times per shift, stand 1-50 times per shift, reach 1-50 times per hour, stoop 1-20 times per hour, bend 1-30 times per hour, operate hand, power, and shop tools 1-50 times per shift, distinguish color shade differences
- WORK HOURS: 12-hour swing shift from 7pm to 7am, overtime may be required on occasion
- EXPERIENCE: 3 years of maintenance experience
- OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Report all accidents immediately, normal mobility, no abnormal fear of heights or confined spaces
Qualifications
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
- ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE
- ABILITY TO DO BASIC MATH OPERATIONS (ADDITION, SUBTRACTION, DIVISION, MULTIPLICATION)
