Spay & Neuter Clinic Veterinarian

Responsibilities

Perform up to 30–40 high-quality spay and neuter procedures for community-owned cats and dogs, feral cats, and shelter animals as needed.

Work with an outstanding support staff and help make veterinary care more accessible to the families who need it most.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Current Massachusetts veterinary license (or the ability to obtain one within three months), including Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration.
• Experience performing canine and feline spay and neuter surgeries is preferred; high-volume, pediatric surgery, and shelter medicine experience are a plus.
• A commitment to providing exceptional surgical and medical care while treating every client with compassion and respect.
• The ability to perform up to 30–40 high-quality spay and neuter surgeries per day in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for advancing animal welfare through accessible veterinary care.

Pay

$115,000 to $125,000 - Additional compensation consideration may be given to candidates with significant surgical experience.
