Sparrow Bartender

About the role

The Bartender will provide an excellent guest drinking experience at Sparrow, the trendy rooftop bar within The Dalmar Hotel in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare, and serve beverages in compliance with Company policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Process guest checks and payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card, and room charge processing and accounting policies and procedures.
• Promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items, and safety hazards to management.
• Report any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards, and regulations to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years prior bartending experience
• High-volume hospitality experience
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Positive interpersonal skills
• State-applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card

Qualifications

• Proven passion and ability to anticipate and exceed guests' needs
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations
• Comprehend and deliver service standards
• Excellence in guest and team member relations and etiquette
• Comprehension of the importance of complying with applicable federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
