About the role
The SPARK Before and After School Program at the Westerhold Early Learning Center is seeking enthusiastic adults to work with children during the hours of 7:00–9:15 AM and 3:00–6:00 PM.
The SPARK Program provides quality care for school-age children, offering developmentally age-appropriate hands-on materials that reinforce academic skills. Activities include recreation and sports, arts and crafts, games, reading, music, films, time to finish school assignments, and free time for children to pursue individual interests.
Responsibilities

- Provide time for children to complete school assignments
- Allow free time for children to pursue individual interests
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication in oral and written English
Pay
$15.00 per hour (this position does not include benefits).
District 62 serves approximately 4,800 students in grades preK–8 across 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round K–8 school.
