Spare Parts Technical Specialist

SKAN US, Inc., a world leader in pharmaceutical isolators, based in Raleigh, NC is accepting applications for the position of Spare Parts Technical Specialist. This position is onsite based out of our Raleigh SKAN US facility. The position reports to the Inside Service Operations Manager. SKAN, headquartered in Switzerland with a strong US presence, is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry for its cleanroom equipment. This equipment is routinely used in vaccine development, production of pharmaceutical products, and other critical operations to ensure the safety and quality of pharmaceutical drugs. Our US base is comprised of a parts business, a field service/assembly team, a microbiology team, a documentation qualification department, sales, and a field qualification team, among other administrative functions. Function Specific Tasks Preparation of quotations for spare parts based on customer requestsPrioritization and initiation of the dispatch of spare parts ordersProactive contact with customers, to query and increase satisfaction as well as to generate possible sales opportunitiesIdentification of stock materials and definition of safety stocks for these stock items based on expected salesPromote contracts for spare parts packagesRegular availability check of poorly available spare parts and active exchange with other departments to prioritize the use of these partsSalary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 Qualifications Needed First experience in dealing directly with customersExperience in dealing with SAP material management & sales transactionsInterested in technical problemsHigh energy and self-motivationEffective written and verbal communication skills What can we offer you?
