Responsibilities
- Replenish orders and ensure availability of needed parts completely and timely for daily production operations
- Communicate with vendors
- Aid internal customers to identify correct parts for individual jobs
- Take internal customers’ orders for parts and fill them as fast as possible
- Receive all incoming goods, verifying quantities received against quantities shipped on packing slips and quantities ordered on electronic approvals; and notify internal customer
- Maintain inventory on all incoming, current, and new parts and inputting them into the Spare Parts List
- Maintain an orderly and clean Spare Parts Room with parts stored in proper locations for easy access
- Conduct periodic physical and electronic inventory of all spare parts
- Become familiar with production processes, equipment, and spare parts to assist internal customers efficiently
- Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for managing spare parts
- Ensure work is completed in a safe manner & maintain a safe working environment
- Follow established work instructions
- Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE
- Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements
- Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements
- Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience is preferred
