Spare Part Assistant
About the role
The Spare Parts Assistant is responsible for managing and identifying recommended spare parts for manufacturing equipment. This role supports Engineering, Functional Projects, and Operations by addressing plant-level losses and driving improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all Company policies and procedures are adhered to ensuring compliance to standards, regulatory, and global requirements
- Drive Safety requirements with goals to drive continuous improvements while meeting all regulatory and company requirements
- Execute strategic plans to optimize equipment spare parts
- Work directly with OEMs and 3rd party vendors to ensure spare parts availability meet requirements
- Execute collaboration with relevant maintenance and production teams to assess equipment spare parts requirements and ensure successful fulfilment
- Track KPIs to monitor and trend local stocking strategies
- Support localized sourcing initiatives to reduce lead times, improve supply reliability, and optimize cost
- Identify obsolete spares available for write off
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work efficiently, be pro-active, and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to manufacturing equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Self-motivated, highly engaged, flexible, and receptive to change

Qualifications
