About the role
The successful candidate will teach Spanish in grades 9-12 at Killingly High School.
Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish language and culture to high school students
- Develop lesson plans and assessments aligned with state standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and student learning
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress
Requirements
- Master's degree in education or related field
- CT teaching certification in World Languages
- Experience teaching Spanish at the high school level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Passion for teaching and working with teenagers
Skills
- Fluency in Spanish
- Knowledge of Spanish language and culture
