About the role

The successful candidate will teach Spanish in grades 9-12 at Killingly High School.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Spanish language and culture to high school students
  • Develop lesson plans and assessments aligned with state standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and student learning
  • Maintain accurate records and report on student progress

Requirements

  • Master's degree in education or related field
  • CT teaching certification in World Languages
  • Experience teaching Spanish at the high school level
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Passion for teaching and working with teenagers

  • Fluency in Spanish
