Spanish Teacher (26-27 School Year)

About the role

Teach five sections of Spanish: 1 section of Spanish 2, 3 sections of Spanish III, and 1 section of Spanish 4. Review the World Languages Department philosophy and Spanish course descriptions on the school website.

Responsibilities

• Teach five sections of Spanish as outlined above
• Participate in a highly collaborative World Languages Department
• Share resources and align grading practices with department colleagues
• Evaluate tests, quizzes, homework, and other student work within a common framework
• Center student learning and outcomes in all instructional decisions
• Support and encourage student confidence in language skills through practice in writing, speaking, and listening

Requirements

• Ideally experience teaching high school Spanish
• Consideration given to other teaching experience or new college graduates
