Responsibilities
- Aid attorney and team in managing workers' compensation cases from intake through settlement.
- Organize case files and ensure all documents are up to date.
- Track case progress and deadlines to ensure compliance.
- Maintain files in case database (Smart Advocate).
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide case updates.
- Afford assistance in coordinating and scheduling meetings and appointments with clients, doctors, and medical experts.
- Request authorization from the employer/workers’ comp. carrier for relevant documents.
- Assist attorney with preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years working experience, preferably in an office setting or legal office.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluency in the English and Spanish languages, both verbally and in writing, Required.
- Excellent organizational skills and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and maintain a professional demeanor.
Pay
The anticipated base pay listed is a range, actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies.
