Spanish-Speaking Virtual Primary Care Doctor (NJ-, GA-, or Compact-Licensed | 1099 | Full or Part Time)

About the Role

HealthTap Practice Group is seeking one to two caring, board-certified physicians (DO/MD) who are medically fluent in Spanish for the HealthTap Primary Care virtual clinic. We are looking for doctors who want to start as independent contractor physicians soon and work 20–40 hours per week. Build a panel of patients who have chosen you as their doctor. Focus on chronic disease management and preventive health through scheduled new-patient and follow-up visits.

NJ-, GA-, or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact state-licensed is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate virtual care via video visits, using your laptop or desktop computer.
• Offer education and guidance to patients.
• Prescribe medications electronically (no DEA or state-scheduled drugs).
• Order and review lab tests.
• Order durable medical equipment.
• Write referrals.
• Fill out work, school, and medical excuse notes.
• Refer patients to in-person care, when necessary.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of post-residency experience in the U.S. providing hands-on primary care.
• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine.
• Licensed in multiple U.S. states (and willing to obtain additional licenses). New Jersey and Georgia licenses are a plus.
• Experienced in primary care.
• Skilled in clear, patient-friendly communication during live video visits.
• Have excellent documentation skills (SOAP notes).

Pay

Expected annual earnings for independent contractor physicians in HealthTap Practice Group: $90,000 - $250,000. Payments depend on number of hours worked, number of patient visits completed, experience, and number of licenses.
