Spanish-Speaking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP-BC)

Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking a New Jersey-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to provide a combination of onsite and telehealth psychiatric services. The selected provider will work onsite at our partner adult day center in Fairlawn one day per week from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and provide additional telehealth services to Mindify patients. Schedule This Hybrid Position Includes Onsite services in Fairlawn: One day per week from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Telehealth services: Additional appointments scheduled according to patient needs, caseload availability, and the provider’s schedule The specific onsite weekday will be coordinated with the selected provider. Telehealth appointments may be scheduled on the same day as onsite services or on additional days, depending on patient needs and the provider’s availability. Applicants must be available to provide both onsite and telehealth services. Compensation Initial psychiatric evaluations: $70–$90 per completed visitFollow-up medication-management visits: $45–$60 per completed visit Rates are based on experience, credentials, qualifications, and clinical expertise. Responsibilities Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication-management visitsDiagnose behavioral health conditions using DSM-5-TR criteriaPrescribe and manage psychiatric medicationsDevelop and update individualized treatment plansMonitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and potential side effectsEducate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and treatment optionsComplete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical recordCollaborate with therapists, social workers, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment teamConduct risk assessments and crisis evaluations when clinically appropriateCoordinate referrals and follow-up care when neededFollow HIPAA requirements, clinical standards, prescribing regulations, and organizational policies Required Qualifications Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner programActive New Jersey RN license in good standingActive New Jersey APRN license in good standingCurrent PMHNP-BC certificationActive DEA registration and New Jersey prescriptive authorityAvailability to provide onsite services in Asbury Park one day per week from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Availability to provide additional telehealth servicesAbility to complete clinical documentation accurately and on time Experience in outpatient behavioral health, telehealth, adult day centers, geriatric care, or working with diverse populations is preferred.
