About The Role

The Commercial Transportation Insurance Producer will drive new business development, manage a book of commercial insurance clients, deliver personalized insurance solutions, and cross-sell other Shamrock services (Factoring, Equipment Financing, Fuel Savings, and trucking Software).

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial clients through networking, cold calling, referrals, and lead generation
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, offering ongoing service, policy reviews, and ensuring evolving insurance needs are met
  • Present tailored insurance options to clients and negotiate terms to secure business
  • Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients by recommending additional coverage options and services
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs, contributing to departmental and company success

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and client retention, preferably in commercial transportation insurance
  • Valid state insurance producer license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance concepts and tailor solutions to client needs
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of clients, accounts, and priorities efficiently
  • Goal-driven, able to work independently while collaborating as a team player
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing) with a business vocabulary
