Job Summary

We are seeking Spanish-speaking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. The role involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

About the Role

This role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success in the role. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques
  • Provide support and encouragement to children and families
  • Exercise and adapt to the physical demands of the role
  • Communicate effectively with BCBA and other team members

Requirements

  • Passionate about helping children with autism
  • Patient and compassionate
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and a TB test
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Pay

$19 - $25 per hour
