Spanish-English Simultaneous Interpreters
Job Overview
The Interpreter provides simultaneous interpretation for a variety of on-site conferences, including but not limited to medical, artificial intelligence, educational (K-12 and university courses), and other types of events. The Interpreter ensures effective communication by converting spoken language accurately and fluently from Spanish to English and vice versa.
Background and Experience
Work Experience: 1+ years of simultaneous interpreting experience.
Certifications: Desirable. At least a high school diploma or equivalent. For Certified Interpreters: CMI, CHI, CCHI, Interpreting diploma from an interpreting school, NBCMI, 40-hour medical interpreting course or college degree.
Skills: Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish, with a preference for native-level fluency. Professional-level simultaneous interpreting skills are required.
