Spaceflight Hardware Project Manager

About the role

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of spaceflight hardware projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and testing of spaceflight hardware systems
• Manage project timelines and budgets, coordinating with cross-functional teams
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace engineering or project management
• Experience with spacecraft hardware design and testing
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed

Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with spacecraft hardware design and testing
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Pay

• $120,000 - $150,000 annually
