Role Summary
Responsible for supporting the design, integration, verification, and operation of spacecraft systems. The role involves translating mission requirements into system-level designs, coordinating subsystem interfaces, and ensuring the spacecraft meets performance, reliability, and mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain spacecraft system requirements and specifications.
- Support spacecraft architecture and system-level design activities.
- Capture and maintain system budgets such as mass, power, data, and link budgets.
- Coordinate interfaces between spacecraft subsystems such as power, avionics, communications, attitude control, thermal, propulsion, and structures.
- Perform system-level analysis, trade studies, and performance assessments.
- Support requirements traceability, verification, and validation activities.
- Support spacecraft integration, testing, and qualification activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, test plans, procedures, and system reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and mission stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of spacecraft systems and the space mission lifecycle.
- Knowledge of systems engineering processes, requirements management, and verification/validation.
- Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems and their interfaces.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
