Space Program Manager, Finance Operations, Regional Portfolio Management (RPM-AMER) GREF
About the role
Work hard, have fun, make history. As a key leader within Amazon's Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team, the Space Program Manager owns the end‑to‑end space allocation strategy for assigned Finance Operations business units, driving results by managing complex programs across multiple stakeholders with competing priorities and tight timelines. - Drive collaboration with business unit leaders to understand real‑estate and portfolio needs, ensuring requirements are accurately captured, prioritized, and addressed on schedule.
- Manage cross‑functional coordination with Amazon Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance Leaders, Global Business Partnering (GBP) and Human Resources to validate headcount data and resolve discrepancies.
- Deliver move‑project business deliverables (origin lists, move notifications, destination lists, etc.) as structured programs with clear milestones and accountability.
- Identify root causes of space‑allocation defects, implement fixes, and establish prevention mechanisms.
- Maintain clear, data‑driven communication with business units, providing proactive updates and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Identify and implement process improvements in move and space‑management operations, measuring impact and scaling successful practices.
- Navigate a matrix reporting structure, influencing without authority and aligning competing priorities across organizational boundaries.
