Space Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) Engineer
About the role
The successful candidate will support the Intelligence Community (IC) in the development of analytical simulation capabilities and models to support multiple space-based analyses. Typical projects involve developing and integrating authoritative intelligence-based physical, mathematical, and logical models in TMAP & AFSIM, developing scenarios to test new concepts, and enabling and performing analysis of space-based systems and concepts.
The Scientific Analysis Operation focuses on providing analytical capabilities and generating accurate scientific and technical information to support the IC and Department of War (DoW) through specialized software development, modeling & simulation (M&S) tooling and infrastructure, and analysis. The team offers a unique blend of analysis and modeling capabilities with an understanding of S&TI missions, enabling innovative solutions to complex challenges and questions.
This opportunity provides exposure to a wide array of novel technologies and concepts, including space-based threat systems and operations, intelligence tradecraft and digital engineering practices, and cutting-edge DoW M&S. The role involves working collaboratively in dynamic, cross-disciplinary teams using lean Agile methodologies for most projects.
