Responsibilities

  • Be on time for each shift and flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
  • Clean treatment rooms and public spaces using a vacuum cleaner, broom, cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents.
  • Empty trash throughout the spa, wiping down trash cans as needed.
  • Pick up and restock towels, straighten chairs throughout the indoor and outdoor pool areas.
  • Break down coffee and water stations after the spa and fitness center have closed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the facility.
  • Clean steam rooms and saunas nightly.
  • Engage with guests and actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests and ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Possess ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
  • Aid in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  • Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with company standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
  • Training and Experience: Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience required. Minimum one-year experience providing customer service in a high-end fitness center or luxury spa environment, a plus.
  • Excellent personal appearance, good communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality is a must.

Pay

$20 to $22.00 per hour

Schedule

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
