Spa Housekeeper (Part-Time Overnight)

About the role

The Woodlands Spa at Nemacolin seeks a housekeeping staff member to ensure guests have a clean and pleasant environment during their stay. This role involves detailed cleaning of various areas, providing clean linens, and exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards.
• Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned.
• Complete accurately and in a timely manner any assigned paperwork.
• Report all maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or maintenance as directed.
• Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.
• Clean and maintain public areas of the resort, including lobby areas and restrooms.
• Remove trash from common areas of the resort and empty ashtrays.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be flexible in schedule, willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be task and detail-oriented, energetic, and able to follow specific directions and meet high physical demands.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work as a team member.

Qualifications
