About the role
A dedicated and friendly Spa Attendant to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests. This role ensures all spa facilities are well-maintained and guests have a pleasant experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing information about spa services and amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of spa areas, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and restrooms.
- Prepare and restock supplies, such as towels, robes, and toiletries, ensuring availability for guests.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of treatment rooms before and after services.
- Monitor and maintain the overall ambiance of the spa, including lighting, music, and temperature.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with spa staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of spa services and treatments is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in a spa or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- College coursework in a related field helpful.
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
