About the role
This position is a 1.0 FTE role.
Responsibilities
- Teach students with special needs in accordance with state standards.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to provide a comprehensive educational program.
- Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Copy of Montana teaching license with Sp Ed endorsement.
- Applicants without the required license and endorsement must submit a statement explaining their status.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Experience working with students with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
