About the role

This position is a 1.0 FTE role.

Responsibilities

  • Teach students with special needs in accordance with state standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to provide a comprehensive educational program.
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

  • Copy of Montana teaching license with Sp Ed endorsement.
  • Applicants without the required license and endorsement must submit a statement explaining their status.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
