About the role

The Assistant Manager position at Photogenic and Cherry Hill Programs is a leadership role within the Souvenir Division. This role involves leading, developing, and motivating a local team to achieve personal, professional, and company goals. The Assistant Manager also promotes a positive, collaborative environment and maintains the company's core values and policies.

Responsibilities

• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home
• Photography experience not required
• Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures appropriately to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery
• Ensure daily operations are maintained as scheduled
• Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by Operations Manager/Regional Manager
• Coach and develop team members to drive revenue, reduce cost, and provide world-class guest service
• Establish and maintain positive and successful vendor relations with staff at all locations and assist where needed
• Aid the Operations Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training, and/or recruiting
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Team player who can work independently and understands the importance of leadership
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong, independent decisions
• Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling
• Flexibility and willingness to work during “peak” retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in natural weather conditions

Skills

• Previous supervisory/management experience preferred
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Show strong people management skills and a passion for developing talent
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
