The Role
The Fountain Worker at the South End Market in MGM Springfield is responsible for taking and serving orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
- Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
- Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments
- Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
- Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Able and willing to work Part-time, 8-hour shifts any time between 6am-2:45am including weekends and holidays
- One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant is preferred

Pay
The starting rate for this role is $18.05 per hour. The estimated annual tips this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is: $0 - $2,100. Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage. Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
Schedule
Part-time, 8-hour shifts any time between 6am-2:45am including weekends and holidays.
