Key Responsibilities
- Support all kitchen operations within your café
- Play an important role in the success and development of your kitchen team
- Help lead teams of Zone Leaders, Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Engage, inspire, and develop strong teams while maintaining operational excellence
- Support kitchen production and service according to established operational standards
- Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and organization
- Coach kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas
- Maintain inventory within established guidelines while ensuring product availability
- Aid in the implementation of seasonal menu changes

Essential Functions / Working Conditions
- Ability and desire to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work 10+ hour shifts and stand, squat, or walk for extended periods of time
- Grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of culinary or kitchen management experience in a high volume food service environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and a strong passion for culinary excellence
- Strong understanding of quality execution, presentation, food safety, sanitation, and food cost controls
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous experience with UltiPro, Toast POS, CrunchTime, and Teamworx preferred
- ServSafe, Allergen, and ChokeSaver certifications preferred
