About the Role

We are currently seeking a Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge
  • Ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

The Sous Chef will be responsible for:

  • Leading the kitchen team in preparing and serving high-quality meals
  • Ensuring food safety and quality control
  • Developing and implementing new menu items
  • Collaborating with the Executive Chef to maintain the restaurant's reputation for excellence

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Be proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

The Sous Chef must possess:

  • A culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid food handler certification
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations

Pay

$70,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
