About the Role
We are currently seeking a Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge
- Ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
The Sous Chef will be responsible for:
- Leading the kitchen team in preparing and serving high-quality meals
- Ensuring food safety and quality control
- Developing and implementing new menu items
- Collaborating with the Executive Chef to maintain the restaurant's reputation for excellence
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Be proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines
- Have excellent organizational and time management skills
- Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
The Sous Chef must possess:
- A culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Valid food handler certification
- Knowledge of food safety regulations

$70,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
