Responsibilities
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- Manage daily kitchen operations and staff schedules
- Ensure food quality and safety standards are met
- Train and mentor kitchen staff
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff for seamless service
- Implement and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Monitor food costs and labor costs to maximize profitability
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent culinary skills and creativity
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay
A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually
