Responsibilities
- Aid the head chef in meal preparation and cooking
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff when the head chef is absent
- Ensure all food meets established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor inventory and place orders as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with the head chef to create new menu items and specials
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, developing new training techniques
Requirements
- Previous experience as a sous chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Shift: Day shift, Evening shift, Morning shift
Weekly day range: Monday to Friday, Every Weekend Experience: Culinary experience: 4 years (Preferred), Cooking: 4 years (Preferred)
