Responsibilities

  • Aid the head chef in meal preparation and cooking
  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff when the head chef is absent
  • Ensure all food meets established recipes and quality standards
  • Monitor inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
  • Collaborate with the head chef to create new menu items and specials
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, developing new training techniques

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a sous chef or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Types: Part-time
Shift: Day shift, Evening shift, Morning shift
Weekly day range: Monday to Friday, Every Weekend Experience: Culinary experience: 4 years (Preferred), Cooking: 4 years (Preferred)
