About the role
As a Sous Chef, you'll be part of our enduring legacy and exciting growth at Parkhurst Dining. You'll manage and direct all culinary staff, assist in purchasing supplies, and support menu development and execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct all culinary staff to ensure standards and quality are being followed.
- Assist in purchasing all food, paper, cleaning, bakery, and safety items within budgeted levels.
- Assist with the Executive Chef in menu development, organization, and completion of production sheets.
- Verify that recipe standards and consistency are being used to ensure a quality product every time.
Requirements
- Three or more years of culinary experience.
- High school or GED diploma.
- Strong leadership and team management skills (desirable).
- Experience with Microsoft software programs.
