About the role

The F&B Supervisor at Olympia Hospitality is responsible for providing excellent customer service, overseeing kitchen staff, and adhering to health and safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations and staff
• Plan and direct food preparation
• Communicate with sales department for meeting/banquet contracts
• Prepare and oversee meal production for various settings
• Manage food and beverage costs
• Ensure kitchen safety and comply with regulations
• Train and supervise kitchen staff
• Assist in special event and menu development
• Monitor inventory and order supplies
• Execute and supervise daily and weekly cleaning
• Support the hotel in achieving high performance levels in service and profitability

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to manage kitchen staff and operations
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and following recipes
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid food handler's permit
• Experience with kitchen management software
• Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols
