About the role

The role involves overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals in a high-volume kitchen setting. This includes managing staff, adhering to food safety protocols, and ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations in the kitchen to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Manage and train kitchen staff to maintain high levels of efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items based on customer feedback and trends.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in product offerings and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional kitchen management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle stressful situations.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Qualifications

    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
    • Experience with budgeting and cost control in a culinary environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Skills

    • Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools.
