About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate sous chef to join our culinary team. Next day pay: Work today, get paid tomorrow with our PayActiv benefit!

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of food preparation and cooking in all production environments
  • Directs and supports the day-to-day operations
  • Supervises the food production and sanitation staff
  • Aids in the hiring and training of new kitchen staff
  • Assumes responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Takes charge of kitchen opening, closing, and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef
  • Participates in inventory management, development of par sheets, and placing food and supply orders

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years’ progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe Certification (preferred)
  • Experience in all cooking stations and methods

Pay

$58,350.00 - $74,463.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
