Sourcing Specialist - Rubber & Hose

About the role

This role supports purchasing and sourcing activities for Graco, a company that manufactures and markets equipment used in various industries. The role is currently based in Minneapolis and will move to Graco's new headquarters in Dayton, MN, by 2027.

Responsibilities

• Locate and evaluate sources (capability, capacity, market constraints) for assigned categories/commodities (20%).
• Review competitive proposals (15%).
• Support new supplier qualification and new product development activities as required, to include supplier visits and audits (20%).
• Place and enter purchase orders as required (5%).
• Keep current on new market trends and materials information (5%).
• Maintain order quantities based on established formulas (10%).
• Support cost reduction, lead time reduction and improve inventory turns (25%).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required; Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Up to 2 years Sourcing or manufacturing related experience.
• Basic knowledge of sourcing practices.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Domestic Travel up to 10%.
• Eligible for E-Verify.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $45,600.00 - $79,900.00 per year, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation.
