- Facilitate the execution of confidentiality and evaluation agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and contributing to secure, high performing supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely supplier onboarding and contract finalization, working closely with internal teams to streamline processes and ensure a secure, uninterrupted supply chain.
- Lead/collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Science & Technology) with limited guidance to ensure alignment and smooth execution of strategic sourcing initiatives, providing critical support throughout the process.
- Partner with four or more assigned Category Managers to develop negotiation strategies, compile necessary documentation, and perform intermediate level impact analyses to drive informed decision-making and favorable negotiation outcomes.
- Progressively monitor and analyze key supplier performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities to enhance sourcing effectiveness, improve supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and foster supplier relationships, working closely with internal stakeholders to address issues, optimize performance, and contribute to long-term, value driven partnerships.
- Manage a project or small internal stakeholder team from initiation to closure with limited oversight.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, life science.
- 2-4 years of experience developing sourcing or procurement discipline expertise.
Additional Job Standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary to complete daily tasks: Excel to complete impact analysis and proposals in a format to allow data-driven decisions, Word to facilitate contract redlines, Outlook for email procession.
- Ability to translate and format data into actionable insights as it pertains to Supplier trends and negotiations across the enterprise.
- Intermediate level skills to identify and resolve gaps during supply chain disruptions, mitigate risks, and implement contingency plans.
- Ability to decide when to escalate situations to appropriate team members as they pertain to issues related to communicating with suppliers, conducting supplier onboarding and assessments, and monitoring and tracking supplies across the Labcorp enterprise.
- Ability to work remotely with high performance and ethical standards.
- Ability to adapt to global team time zones and network with teammates from multiple cultural backgrounds.
- Intermediate level business case modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
- Technology savvy to effectively use technology tools (ERP, sourcing tools, contracting tools such as iCert is for improved outcomes).

Working Conditions
Hybrid – Full time, regular. This hybrid role is central North Carolina-based with three days per week (Wednesday is mandatory) supporting both collaboration and flexibility on-site in Burlington, NC. The remainder of the schedule is remote.
