About the role
We are seeking a full-time Sound Booth Laborer to install and disassemble sound booths under the direct supervision of the Sound Room Supervisor. This position requires national travel with variable hours based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Install and assemble new sound booths; disassemble, move, and reinstall sound booths within hospitals, clinics, schools, and businesses.
- Assist the supervisor in transporting, moving, and assembling sound booths following manufacturer specifications; visually inspect components for defects or damage and report findings to the supervisor.
- Safely perform all assigned tasks, including the use of power tools and moving equipment such as dollies and wheeled carts.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Travel
This position requires travel up to 75% of the time. Occasionally, sound booths will be disassembled and relocated to new sites, with mileage reimbursed according to federal guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move large, bulky, heavy sound booth components up to 100 pounds, including work on ladders and elevated areas.
- Steel or composite toe shoes/boots required.
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods during daily routines.
- Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods.
