Sound Bath Instructor

About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to teach Sound Bath at a high-profile company's fitness center in West Des Moines, Iowa. You will develop effective, engaging, and motivating class formats accompanied by fun and appropriate playlists. Your role includes driving client results by building class attendance and offering alternative movements to accommodate all fitness levels. There is also an opportunity to provide class coverage at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging Sound Bath class formats with appropriate playlists.
• Build class attendance and motivate participants of all fitness levels.
• Offer alternative movements to accommodate diverse participant needs.
• Provide class coverage at multiple locations as needed.
• Network, engage, and interact professionally with clients, guests, and participants.
• Communicate effectively using appropriate vocabulary and grammar.
• Engage participants as a confident public speaker.

Requirements

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate (e.g., Zumba® license).
• Current CPR/AED certification (no online certifications accepted).
• Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, or related fields.
• Strong customer service skills to network and engage with clients and participants.
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to engage participants effectively as a public speaker.
• Competency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $75, based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and geographic differentials. In addition to the hourly rate, Plus One offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
