About the role

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a remote work structure and approximately 50% travel required for customer engagements, training, and meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to understand business objectives, technical challenges, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Develop and present technology solutions aligned with customer needs and business goals.
  • Support technical discovery, solution design, configuration planning, and project scoping.
  • Participate in customer presentations, demonstrations, technical discussions, and solution evaluations.
  • Develop technical content for proposals and customer-facing materials.
  • Design and recommend enterprise infrastructure solutions across storage, virtualization, networking, computing, and data protection environments.
  • Assess existing technology environments and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with sales and technical teams to develop effective customer solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and technology partners.
  • Support proof-of-concept initiatives and other customer technical engagements.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members.
  • Stay current with emerging infrastructure technologies and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with enterprise infrastructure or data center technologies.
  • Experience designing, implementing, supporting, or selling enterprise technology solutions.
  • Strong experience with enterprise storage technologies and infrastructure architecture.
  • Experience with server virtualization, including VMware.
  • Experience with data center networking and infrastructure design.
  • Experience with backup, recovery, replication, or data protection technologies.
  • Experience working with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture and solution design.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a technical consulting, architecture, engineering, or pre-sales capacity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical business solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
